My name is Jeff Peacock and was born and raised in Brantford Ontario.
I received my first metal detector over 25 years ago for Fathers Day. It was a Radio Shack model a toy by todays standards but I was thrilled. At the time I lived in a very old neighbourhood in South London, Ontario. I took it out in the backyard turned it on, swung the coil around the yard for a couple of minutes and heard a signal. Dug down a couple of inches and pulled out a George Washington memorial medallion. No value it was corroded and rough but I had found buried treasure with a metal detector. That moment changed my life forever.
I went on to write article about metal detecting for US magazines, taught treasure hunting seminars to others and was the President of the local metal detecting club for a number of years. Helped look for lost jewellery for people, weapons and evidence for police agencies.
My main type of hunting right now is field hunting looking for old forgotten homesteads from the 1800's that have vanished and are located out in the many farmfields of Ontario.

What this all boils down to as I am a treasure hunter like you, or like your going to be. I have used and continue to use all the products we sell on our web store. I am always looking for good and well made product that allows our customers to save money but at the same time have a product that works well and delivers what the customer wants in terms of a treasure hunting expeirence.

Some peole are hard core and hunt when it's pouring rain, freezing cold and  whenever they can. Most people though are weekend treasure hunters and are just looking to see whats just under the surface and bring to light a piece of history or just some coins and jewellery.
